A Romantic Love Letter written by Duff Cooper to his future wife.

It is believed that this romantic love letter was written on June 9, 1914.

Don't write too legibly or intelligibly as I have no occupation so pleasant as pondering for hours over your hieroglyphics, and for hours more trying to interpret your dark sayings. A clearly written simply expressed letter is too like the lightening.

Duff Cooper, the British politician, to Lady Diana Manners regraded as one of the most beautiful women in the country and the person whom he married five years later. However he was also known to have cheated on her with numerous society woman.

After he gave up his political career in 1947 he devoted himself to his writing and published several works of importance before being a Knight for services to literature by the British Prime Minister.
